1. Roskilde Festival
Roskilde Festival is one of Europe’s premier music festivals and is widely known for its diverse line-up. Hosted annually in Denmark between late June and early July, this eight-day event draws thousands of festivalgoers each time it happens.

2. Fuji Rock
At Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture, this massive music festival boasts around ten stages dotted throughout its mountain forest setting. Miles between stages gives this music festival its unique charm.
Oasis, Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys are just a few of the world-famous artists featured on this roster; but also present are Japanese bands and alternative acts.
Other activities available at the festival include drumming lessons in the “Stoned Circle”, juggling workshops and slack line exhibitions. Families will keep busy throughout the day at “Family Park”, with its merry go round, kids workshop and face painting activities.
At night, if you can’t sleep, the Cinema Fuji offers movie showings. And if you still have the energy left over, visit the “Palace of Wonder,” where oversized “art objects” have been placed around the site.
3. Isle of Wight Festival
Garlic-flavored ice cream and bread stalls abound on the Isle of Wight, and its festival scene abounds. If you’re seeking something truly different, Ventnor Fringe (VFringe for short) offers two days of performances in and around Ventnor town; from plays being staged in laundromats to shows taking place in people’s driveways!
Pulp, George Ezra and The Chemical Brothers will headline this year’s Isle of Wight Festival but there will also be plenty of great acts performing – dance-pop sensation Groove Armada will perform an energetic set, while indie icons The Courteeners promise an exciting live show!
There are also plenty of activities to keep you occupied, such as a parade of floats and funfair. Furthermore, the island is known for hosting carnivals throughout summer in various towns and villages across its shores.
4. Pitchfork Festival
Pitchfork Festival is one of the must-attend music festivals for fans of indie music, taking place over three days from July 21-23 in Chicago’s Union Park. Headline acts include English rock band The Smile (featuring Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner), indie folk darling Bon Iver as well as Alvvays Perfume Genius Weyes Blood Kelela King Krule Koffee Julia Jacklin Vagabon MJ Lenderman Panda Bear+ Sonic Boom Ariel Zetina + Rachika Nayar to name just a few of many other notables present during Pitchfork Fest 2018.

5. ADE
ADE is the world’s premier dance music conference and festival, hosting five days and nights of programming across Amsterdam’s iconic canals and coffee shops. 9. Rock in Rio
Rock in Rio was launched in Rio de Janeiro in 1985 and since then it has grown into one of the world’s premier music festivals, drawing in audiences from around the globe to hear an eclectic range of pop, rock, electronic and Brazilian musicians perform every year at this international music festivity.
